Swiss, circa 1880. Fine 18K gold and enamel, diamond-set pendant watch concealed in a medallion.

Four body, designed and an oval medallion within a pierced foliate and florally decorated frame, the spring loaded cover applied with a high relief painted enamel portrait of a maiden within a rose-cut diamond set frame, the back engraved wit foliage decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 7 1/2 "' , gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Dim. 51 x 35 mm. Accompanied by a later fitted box.
