Three part, underside realistically chased and engraved with legs and underbody, wing covers entirely decorated flinque blue enamel with diamond-set decoration, the thorax set with a sapphire cabochon and the head decorated with diamonds, sprung loaded wing covers hinged and opening from a button in the base to reveal the dial. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals. Goldl "spade" hands. M. Glazed 6 1/2 gilt brass, bar calibre, going barrel, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement and plain threearm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Dims. 51 x 21 mni.
