C. Three body, massive, " bassine et filets" engineturned, the cover centred with the monogram "F. P." and engraved inside with the name of the owner "Frank Parmelee ", the back centred with the date: "1880" . Glazed gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 21"', nickel plated, calibre patented on January 4, 1876, "fausses cotes " decoration, 21 jewels, majority in screwed gold settings, great wheel screwed on to the barrel cap, patented on October 11, 1875. Pivoted detent escapement patented on October 11, 1875, shockabsorbing counterpoised and off-set passing spring. Two-arm cut bimetallic balance, free sprung helical balance spring with terminal curves. Signed on the dial and movement. Diam. 56 mm.
