C. Three body, "Empire " , engine-turned with reeded band. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. Gold engineturned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, the border with cast foliage decoration. Blued steel "scotties " hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Striking train with going barrel, released for repeating by means of a button on the pendant, striking and repeating on gongs. Diam. 56 mm.
