Four body, massive, " bassine et filets " by Joseph Walton (Master mark), polished with black champleve enamelled Roman numerals on the border of the dial aperture, the back engraved with the coat of arm of Bevan of Fosbury, Wilts and Trent Park, with the motto: Deus Proesidium, thief proof bow. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel by Willis with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "pear " hands. M. 18"' , frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate with raised going barrel, 15 jewels in screwed settings for the going train, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, free sprung balance spring with terminal curves, ruby end-stone. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 53 mm.
