C. Rounded rectangular, the back engraved in Japanese: "They go to the purple sky through the beautiful gate " the face carved with foliage and flower decoration, brass bezel to the dial aperture. D. Fixed brass with Japanese numerals. Blued steel later hand revolving. M. Rectangular full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with gut line, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, brass balance cock with blued steel end-piece.
