The scarab with black enamelled head and ruby-set eyes, sprung loaded wing covers of red flinque enamel, each enhanced with a diamond set line, opening from a button in the base to reveal the dial. D. Black painted with Arabic numerals. Blued steel hands. M. 4 1/2, tonneau shaped rhodium plated "fausses cotes" decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Dim. 23 x 12 mm.
