Piguet Meylan, Geneva, No. 2365, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1815. Fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set quarter repeating musical watch.
C. Four body, Empire with reeded band, split-pearl set bezels, pendant and bow, the back panel of blue flinque enamel. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute ring. Gold hands. M. Gilt-brass with free standing barrels, inverted cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Pin-disc musical train with 20 blued steel teeth. Piguet Meylan Master mark punched on the front plate beneath the dial. Diam. 58 mm.
