C. Double body, Louis XVI with paste-set bezel, the enamel back with a fine painted portrait of a maiden, within a paste-set frame, outer paste-set leaf decoration on a blue ground. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold interlaced hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance and flat balance spring. Gilt brass continentall cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 50 mm.
