Taking its cue from the world of art, where one-of-a-kind contemporary artists make one-of-a-kind works of art, Swatch has created Charme de Crystal, a chic and sophisticated SKIN?with a difference. Charme de Crystal is the only one of its kind, an absolutely individual piece (in the art world, such works are known as ?monotypes?). Clearly a limited edition, its uniqueness is underscored by the ?1/1? edition mark engraved on the back of the case. The adjustable stainless steel bracelet forms a set of arching loops linked by Aurora Borealis coloured crystals mounted in steel settings. Crystals hung on either side of the classic transparent plastic SKIN case are of the same Aurora Borealis colour. The dial has a silver sun-brushed effect and is decorated with a relief pattern that recalls and playfully takes up the bracelet?s arching loops. Absent are all numerals and indices, time is marked by silvery hour and minute hands.
