J. Chappuis, Geneve, circa 1870. Fine and unusual silver half hunting cased, keyless eight day going watch with geographic dial.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the cover with black champleve enamel Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 and red from 13 to 24, on the border of the glazed dial aperture. Hinged glazed silver cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, the centre decorated with it map of Spain and Portugal. Bluedsteel "spade" hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, bar calibre with twin going barrels, 15 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement. Diam. 54 mm.
