C. Four body, massive, "bassine " , fully chased with interlocked foliage decoration in the Renaissance style. Hinged silvered cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 19 "' , gilt brass with punch-mark in form of a viper's head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 20 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted by Jaccard, blued-steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the case and movement. Accompanied by copies of the timing certificates. Diam. 55 mm.
