Bulletin de Premiere Classe de l'Observatoire National de Besancon, No. 8014, in 1910, was awarded the Gold Medal at the timing contest with a total of 248,2 marks.
C. Three body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back engraved wit a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 18"', gilt-brass with punch-mark in form of a viper's head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 20 jewels, brass-invar Guillaume balance adjusted by Grogg, blued-steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Accompanied by copies of the timing certificates. Diam. 51 mm.
