C. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets", polished by Robert Benson North (Nicole Nielsen & Co) (Master mark). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Bluedsteel "pear" hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt, threequarter plate, 19 jewels, partly in gold screwed settings, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, blued-steel balance spring with terminal curve. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 55 mm.
