Oval, the bezel with champleve enamelled decoration set with a rock crystal glass, the enamel back of the "bassine" oval case, painted with a scene featuring a maiden seating by a military camp, black enamelled band with gilt painted foliage decoration. The inside of the case painted with a ruin. D. Oval silver with Roman numerals and champleve enamelled decoration. Gilt-brass hands. M. Small circular gilt-brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and three-quarter giltbrass continental cock. Signed on the back plate. Dim. 46 mm.
