Ferdinand Berthoud a Paris, circa 1760. Very fine ormolu, hour and half-hour striking Louis XV wall cartel.
C. Gilt bronze with floral, foliage and rocaille decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minutes ring. Gilt-brass Louis XV hands. M. Brass circular with going barrel both for the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, short pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial and back plate. Dim. 58 x 28 cm.
