D'Etour a Paris, circa 1800. Very fine gilt bronze, "rouge grillotte" marble and enamel eight day going, hour and half hour striking skeleton clock.

C. Rectangular "Rouge grillotte" marble base on four gilt bronze feet. Four short white marble columns columns supporting a semi-circular arched frame applied with a blue enamel panel with gold leaf decoration. Signature cartouche flanked by two gilt bronze oak branches, supporting the movement, gilt bronze flowers and eagle at the top. D. White enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals and blue external decoration matching that of the arch. Gilt brass pierced interlaced hands. M. Brass circular with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, "sunburst " pendulum, silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on a cartouche below the dial. Dim. 40 x 25 x 12 cm.
