E. Bronner, Swiss, No. 2243, circa 1860. Fine 18K gold and enamel, oval hunting cased, diamond-set pendant watch.
C. Four body, oval, cover and back with engraved border, the cover enamelled with a fine painted portrait of a maiden with rose-cut diamond inlaid tiara and necklace, within a blue champleve enamelled frame with floral decoration, the blue enamel back centred with an engraved rosette. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 12"', gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Signed on the cuvette. Dim. 50 x 31 mm. including the articulated pendant.
