Swiss, No. 7614, case by Verger, Paris, No. 12588, Brevete S.G.D.G., circa 1920. Fine and unusual, 18K gold and enamel, rectangular Art-Deco purse watch in a fitted tooled red leather purse.
C. Three body, rectangular with spring loaded folding watch with engraved geometrical decoration, the spring loaded folding cover with black champleve enamelled decoration in an Art-Deco pattern. D. Frosted silver with Arabic numerals. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. Rhodium plated, 5"' rectangular with canted corners, "fausses cotes" decoration, punched with the Geneva quality marks, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. hagerMaster mark punched on the case. Dim. 34 x 26 mm.
