Repassee par Le Roy a Paris No. 9073, circa 1820. Fine silver, quarter repeating watch with concealed erotic automata.
C. Three body, "forme quatre baguettes" engineturned. Concealed in the hinged gilt-brass cuvette, a small automaton scene presents a couple striving hard to prolong the existence of the human race. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued-steel "scotties " hands. M. Gilt-brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt-brass continental cock with steel end-piece. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant, the automata driven by the repeating train by means of a small lever. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 55 mm.
