French, No. 7083, circa 1920. Fine and unusual 18K gold, silver gilt, lacquer ivory and nephrite, diamond-set small table clock.

C. Gold and silver gilt lacquered base supporting the ivory carved figure of a Mandarin with a stag and a small nephrit carved: FO Dog in a glazed cage surmounted by the black lacquered clock. D. Rectangular, black lacquered with diamond-set Arabic numerals, the centre with a gold inlaid decoration in a sunburst pattern. M. Swiss rectangular, nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 13 jewels, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Dim. 95 x 86 x 35 mm.
