Notes

The case of this watch can only be compared with that of the "rose" by Piguet Mcylan, sold by Antiquorum on 21 April 1996, lot 267 and one might think that it was produced in the same workshop. The white enamel dial with sunk centre was made in order to fit the watch with a flat glass. It is certainly one of the earliest dials with sunk centre ever made.
