Swiss, No. 228, Swiss patent No. 5507, U.S. Patent No. 489255, circa 1890. Fine 18K gold hunting cased keyless watch with unusual chronograph and instantaneous 30 minutes recorder.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minutes register. Blued-steel "spade " hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, unusual patented calibre, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Chronograph with unusual visible chronograph work and push piece in the band. Diam. 52 mm.
