Geneva, circa 1820. Fine and highly unusual pendant watch designed as a turquoise-set watch key.
C. Double body with the key fitted opposite the pendant, cover and enamel cover and back painted in a multicoloured butterfly pattern, the cover set with a turquoise cabochon above the key tip. D. White enamel with Rreguet numerals. Gold hands. M. I-tinged gilt-brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass tlu ccarm balance, unusual continental cock with polishedsteel end-piece. Dim. 50 x 28 mm. including the key tip.
