Girard Perregaux, La Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 87319, made in 1878. Very fine and rare 18K pink gold, hunting cased, celebrated three parallel bridge keyless pocket lever chronometer, with inverted lever escapement.
C. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets " , engineturned, the cover centred with a crowned blank escutcheon flanked by chimeras and floral decoration. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border and engraved with technical details and the mention of the awarded Bulletin. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV " hands. M. Glazed 20"' , nickel plated, parallel bridge calibre with silver bridges, 11 jewels partly in gold screwed settings, inverted lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case, cuvette and movement. Diam. 58 mm.
