H.R. Ekegren, Geneva, No. 77813, made for J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1900. Fine 18K pink gold, keyless quarter repeating watch.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-tau ned border. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer gilt minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. M. 18"', nickel plated, 29 jewels partly in gold screwed settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance sprng with swan-neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial cuvette and movement. Diam. 51 mm.
