Ecole d'Horlogerie de Geneve, Master Piece, cased after the second World War. Fine 18K gold keyless pocket lever chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets carrure ronde" , polished. Detachable gold glazed cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minutes ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade " hands. M. 19"', LeCoultre calibre, nickel plated, "fausses cotes " decoration, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring. One minute tourbillon regulator with polished-steel equidistant three-arm Pellaton type carriage. Signed on movement. Diam. 58 mm.

Notes

The carriage of this tourbillon is very similar to that used by James Pellaton. Originally made, as usual, with a nickel plated workshop case, this movement was certainly cased in gold after the second World War.
