Swiss, circa 1800. Fine and rare 18K gold, pearl-set, quarter repeating automaton ring watch with visible balance.

C. Two piece, rectangular with canted corners, the bezel set with split-pearls, the back with a slide covering the winding holes. D. Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals. Gold "feuilles" hands. The blue enamel dial plate with circular aperture for the visible diamond-set plain four-arm balance flanked on either side by automaton Jacks striking hours and quarters on a bell. M. Shaped inverted gilt brass with going barrel, cylinder escapement. Repeating on two bells with slide on the border and repeating work on the back plate. Dim. 34 x 22 mm.
