Swiss, circa 1825 Fine 18K gold and enamel form watch designed as a shield escutcheon, with date and visible balance, mounted on a pin.

C. Double body with split-pearl set bezels. Gold shaped screwed cuvette D. Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals flanked by small subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, circular balance aperture below. Blued-steel hands. Dial plate of blue flinque enamel with gold champleve decoration. M. Shaped inverted gilt-brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement with four-arm paste: set balance, flat balance spring. Dint 31 x 23 mm.
