Swiss, circa 1850. Fine 18K gold and enamel, extra slim half hunting cased watch with Bagnolet calibre.

Three body, "bassine pincee", the cover with eccentric dial aperture, engine-turned in a vermicelli pattern with painted champleve enamelled Summer flowers above the dial aperture on the cover and on the centre of the back. D. Eccentric silver with Roman numerals sunk on the silver dial plate engraved with flowers and foliage. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 12 1/5''', gilt brass, eight jewels, Bagnolet inverted calibre with the free standing barrel and the train of wheel sunk in the single plate engraved on the reverse with technical details and a floral decoration matching that of the dial plate. Cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Female winding squares. Diam. 35 mm.
