Blondel & Melly a Geneve, No. 13655, made for the Islamic Market, circa 1830. Very fine 18K varicoloured gold and enamel watch.
C. Four body with scalloped edge, the bezel decorated with alternated panels enamelled with painted trophies over a powder blue ground, the back with alternated sectors of enamel, painted with flowers over a powder blue ground and varicoloured gold sectors chased with trophies. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details. D. White enamel with Turkish numerals and subsidiary seconds, the centre decorated with gold painted trophies. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 16''', gilt brass, bar calibre with going barrel, Swiss swan-neck lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 50 mnt.
