German, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1920. Fine and unusual silver cigarette box with singing bird.

C. Rectangular, completely guilloche and engraved. Four hinged silver lateral panels with inner cigarette holders. The top panel decorated with two cupids on guilloche. M. Gilt brass rectangular with rectangular bellow and fly regulator, the going barrel with two cams driving the movements of the bird, moving wings, beak and pivoting. Dim. 12 x 6,3 x 5,5 cm
