Notes

The Ingenieur wristwatch was made for the first time by IWC: in the mid-50's. With its self-winding mechanical movement, it created a sensation at the time, and has always been considered as the most resistant watch. This concept of wristwatch was meant to be constantly adapted to the technical progress in the field. In 1976 will be launched the model Ingenieur SL antimagnetic to 80000 Ampere/Meter and in 1989 the Ingenieur R antimagnetic to 500000 Ampere/Meter.
