Notes

A similar watch is published in Signoo del Tempo, p. 334. In 1927, the Mido Factory, launched this watch model on the Market, proposing to the various Automobile Clubs to stamp their logo, the brand of their vehicles and more their monograms, in one or more colours; on their Mido driver's watch, against payment of a slightly higher price. The Bugatti car manufacture took advantage of this novelty, and very soon in automobile circles, this model became known as The Bugatti watch.
