Double body Louis XVI with split-pearl set bezel, the band chased with formal decoration, the back enamel panel painted with a loving couple in a medallion with outer silver leaf paillonne decoration over a blue ground. Gilt brass glazed protecting case. Matching gold and enamel chatelaine with two charms and key. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold skeleton hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 50 mm.
