Swiss, made for the South American Market, circa 1920. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased, keyless minute repeating automaton watch.

C. Four body, massive "demi-bassine", polished, the cover engraved with a coat of arms. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 25 December 1924. D. Small blue enamel with gilt Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds, applied on a polished gold dial plate, surmounted by a painted enamel angel playing a mandolin and flanked by two angel automaton jacks, striking hours, quarters and minutes on two bells. Gold "Louis XV " hands. M. 20"' rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Diam. 63 mm.
