Swiss, circa 1830. Very fine and impressive 18K gold and enamel, garnet set bangle with built in watch, in original fitted box.

Double body, the bangle designed as a pair of serpents, fully enamelled with large white framed green and scarlet spots over a black and gold ground simulating the skin, ruby set eyes and garnet cabochons set on their heads. Spring loaded cover decorated en suite in a rosette pattern. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, continental gilt brass cock with polished steel end-piece. Watch diam. 41 mm., total width: 59 mm.
