Impressive and rare 18K gold hunting cased, moon phase astronomical keyless minute repeating presentation watch with perpetual calendar and dead independent centre seconds, made for the Indian Market, the enamel portrait of Queen Victoria, concealed in the cuvette.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets " , fully chased with foliage and formal decoration. Hinged gold cuvette partly engraved with flowers disclosing the painted enamel portrait of Queen Victoria. D. Silver with Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph ring, sunk subsidiary dials for the months, days of the week and dates, the subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture, engraved with foliage border and centre with gold cast floral decoration. Blued steel "spade " hands. M. Glazed 19"' , gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 44 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. hidependent seconds train with flirt on the escape wheel pinion and bolt in the band. Signed on dial and movement by the Indian retailer, Grandjean Trademark on the case. Diam. 57 mm.
