C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 4463, circa 1890. Fine 18K pink gold hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch with split seconds chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', nickel plated, "tausses cotes" decoration, 37 jewels, superior adjustment, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Chronograph with visible work, chronograph and split seconds push pieces in the band. Minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition.
