Jules Jiirgensen, Copenhagen, No. 9477, Swiss, sold in Le Locle (Switzerland) to Mr. W. Shumann from New York, circa 1865. Fine 18K gold hunting cased watch.

C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes" polished with reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with flowers and with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 19"', nickel plated bar calibre with going barrel, "faussses cotes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition, accompanied by a photocopy of the original workshop index card. Diam. 54 mm.
