C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned (rubbed), by Alfred Strain (Master Mark). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel by Willis with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "fleurs-de-lys " hands. M. frosted and gilt, threequarter plate, 15 jewels in screwed settings, fusee with chain and maintaining power, the barrel passing through the back plate with foliate engraved cover, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, free sprung balance spring with terminal curve, diamond end-stone. Detachable winding crown with integrated male key. Signed on the dial and back plate. In good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
