Bulletin de Premiere classe de l'Observatoire National de Besancon, No. 1166, in 1911, awarded a Gold Medal with 200,1 marks. Accompanied with the medal, the original invoice and original certificate and timing records from the observatory, in the original fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the awarded prize. D. White enamel, with Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 18 " ', gilt brass with punch-mark in form of a viper's head set by the Observatory of Besancon, 20 jewels, brass-invar Guillaume balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial and case. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
