Bouquet a Paris, circa 1800. "Le Tonneau d'Hydromel" Fine gilt bronze eight day going hour and half hour striking clock.

C. The clock is contained in a barrel of Hydromel supported by the wings of a Cupid with enamelled eyes and the attributes of Bacchus, behind him is a basket of fruits and flowers. Oval based with claw feet and applied vine branch decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Pierced and chased gilt brass hands. M. Brass circular with going barrel on both trains, anchor escapement, short pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 39 x 27 x 14 cm.
