Mappin & Webb, No. 2/200, made in the 1970's. Very fine silver cased eight day going carriage clock, from a limited series of 200 pieces only, in original fitted box.

C. Solid silver, "pillars" with reeded top and base, glazed on three faces, the glazed top plate engraved with flowers and foliage. Back door engraved with foliage. D. Silver with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, the centre engraved with flowers, dial plate decorated en suite. M. Gilt brass rectangular, the back plate engraved with foliage, with turned pillars, fusee and nylon line both on the going and the striking trains, silvered platform with straight line lever escapement mono-metallic balance and self= compensating Breguet balance spring. In new condition. Dim. 15 x 9 x 7 cm, excluding the handle.
