James C. Pellaton, Le Locle (Swiss), No. 8592, specially made for Ernest Liniger in 1947. Extremely fine 18K gold small keyless marine chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator. Bulletin de Marche from the Observatoire Astrononzique et Chronouaetrique de Neuchatel dated March 1st, 1949.

C. Three piece, massive, "bassine et filets canure plate", polished with glazed back. Double body mahogany box with external brass handles and gimballed suspension. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 19''', rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, engraved with the dedication: Labrique specialemeni pouf Ernest Linger [gar James C. Pellaton, Dr. H.G. Le Lode, 1947. Pellaton calibre, 19 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. One minute tourbillon regulator, the polished steel Pellaton type carriage with three equidistant arms made by" C. Pellaton. Signed on the movement, with copy of the Observatory Certificate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
