Ls. Lacroix a Turin, circa 1830. Very fine 18K varicoloured gold, ruby set quarter repeating watch.

C. Four body, massive, the ruby set bezels with vineleaf decoration, the back chased with a very fine varicoloured gold ruby set vase of flowers. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Engine-turned gold with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "scotties"hands. M. 15"', gilt brass with free standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Repeating on gongs with pull twist piston through the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 41 mm.
