Longines, "Weems second setting watch", made for Wittnauer, 1930's. Fine and rare hour angle, centre second, silver aviator's wristwatch.

C. massive, polished, hinged back, silver cuvette, ballshaped winding-crown, additional stem on the band to set the time. D. white enamel with painted Arabic numerals, at the centre, revolving matt silverand black dial to adjust the time in seconds. "Breguet " blued steel hands. M. 17 1/2"' rhodium plated, 15 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
