Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1780. Fine 18K gold and enamel diamond-set watch with double calendar and subsidiary seconds, accompanied by a gold and enamel diamond-set chatelaine.

Double body, Louis XVI, two coloured gold bezels with engraved decoration, the back centred with a fine rose-cut diamond set monogram against a blue enamel ground, outer two coloured gold floral and ribbon chased decoration. Gold and enamel diamond-set chatelaine, the top part chased in a medallion with a two coloured gold composition of symbols of love and fidelity. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, dates and clays of the week. Gold "poker and beetle. " hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. In good condition, accompanied by two gold keys. Diam. 47 mm.
