C. Outer double body, the bezel set with rubies and rose-cut diamonds, bezels with red and green translucent champleve enamel clots over a white ground, the back with a fine enamel profile portrait of a lady, painted in a medallion (slightly restored) within a white clotted frame on a red translucent enamel ground over engine-turning, green translucent and white champleve enamelled border. Inner bassine, the back engraved with a bird and the band pierced and engraved with a mask and scrolled foliage. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring (slightly restored). Gold "poker and beetle" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and English gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with foliage, ruby end-stone. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Gilt brass dust cap. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
