L'Epine a Paris, circa 1757. Fine and spectacular 20K varicoloured gold watch with matching chatelaine.

C. Double body Louis XV, the bezel with a floral decoration over a hatched pattern, the back chased with Summer flowers and outer rocaille decoration. Fine gold chatelaine of four main elements, hallmarked Paris 1757, pierced and chased with a floral decoration en suite, matching key, seal and two acorn shaped containers. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass 11111 plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental gilt brass cock with polished steel endpiece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 33 mm.
